Travelex offers comprehensive travel insurance for almost any family vacation, business trip, or solo adventure. The company’s policies cover travel within the United States and to all but a few countries around the world. Travelex coverage protects against flight delays, lost baggage, trip interruption, medical emergencies, and more. For families, Travelex Select plans also cover kids under 18 at no additional cost.
Suitable For?
Travelex insurance policies are suitable for an extremely wide range of travelers, including both domestic and international travelers.
Families can take advantage of Travelex’s free coverage for children under 18 who are traveling with an insured parent. There are no limits on how many children can be covered for free with a Travelex Select policy.
Unlike other travel insurance companies, Travelex does not have age restrictions on its policies. So, seniors over 65 can use Travelex with no issues.
Travelex is also suitable for individuals with pre-existing medical conditions. These are covered if you purchase your policy within three days of your final payment for domestic travel or within 15 days of your initial payment for international travel.
Travelex also stands out for anyone who wants truly comprehensive coverage. The Travelex Select policy offers up to $50,000 of primary medical expense coverage, up to $500,000 of coverage for medical evacuation flights, and up to $1,000 of coverage for canceled return flights.
Finally, Travelex is a good option for anyone who isn’t sure a trip will happen. You can cancel your trip for a wide range of reasons, including medical events, financial events, or political events in your destination country. You can cancel right up until your departure and receive 100% of your non-refundable trip costs back.
